Over the past decade, I have successfully designed PCBs using Altium Designer for various power converter components, including main power boards, gate drivers, auxiliary power supplies, sensor boards, and microcontroller boards. My expertise covers a wide range of topologies, such as half-bridge, full-bridge, dual active bridge, flyback, boost, buck, bridgeless, and multi-phase designs, as well as three-level diode-clamped converters.

An example of my PCB design work includes a high-power Dual Active Bridge (DAB) converter, featuring:

  1. Optimized layout for minimal parasitic inductance/resistance in high-current paths.
  2. Multi-layer stackup with proper power/ground planes for noise suppression.
  3. Isolated gate driver sections with reinforced creepage/clearance for safety compliance.
  4. Thermal management through strategic component placement and heatsinking.
  5. EMI-conscious routing, including shielding and filtering for sensitive analog signals.
